Hitting the Ground Running...

To call the last several months a whirlwind is an understatement.

Last September, "The Next Chapter" felt like a lifetime away. Today, at the close of July, the page is finally coming around to turning. It is exhilarating ... and terrifying, like any other life transition is.

However, for the first time in my life, I walk into this venture wholly confident in my skills and the joy that is imminently around the corner. Ready to do the work, get the work, and (at the risk of cliche) live the actual dream.

Today is particularly exciting, because it has brought me my latest tools in the imminent booking of the work ahead. It happens to be New Headshot Day, y'all!

I have never had a better experience getting these done in my life, and Michael Kushner Photography is my go to for as long as he wants to keep shooting headshots!

These are my first five selections from him, and I have so many more looks and expressions I want to add to this mix soon.

I can not possibly recommend him and his process more. I've never felt more comfortable going into a session (his prep with you ahead of time is unmatched). I've never felt more comfortable DURING a session. The hardest part of the entire process was the selection, which is the best kind of problem to have.
